We (that is my cabal and I) will run around town, holding large cabbages over our heads,
telling everyone that the end of the world is coming, so they should give-in
while the DSEMPBWD will still allow everyone to do so!

This should work for a couple of reasons, I will list them now -

1. Everyone is afraid of what is going to happen on Jan 1, 1900 (I don't see any problems). This is making everyone VERY IMPRESSIONABLE, so we will overload their brains, causing them to fall for our nefarious scheme!

2. This one is EASY, anyone who has seen the movie 'The Gods Must Be Crazy II" can tell you that by holding something over your head, you appear to be much larger than you actually are! We will hold the cabbage SO HIGH OVER OUR HEADS THAT PEOPLE WILL BE SO SCARED OF US, THEY WILL DO ANYTHING WE TELL THEM TO!!!!!! - maniacle laughter ensues, followed by a hiccup, then a puzzed look on Incubus's face

3. The final and most promising reason that all of this shall work, WE SHALL USE THE ALL-POWERFUL WORD, fnord!
